AMA Recap: Avalanche Vietnam x Roco Finance

Before we dive into the questions, can you introduce the Roco Finance project to Avalanche Vietnam community. Tell us about the team, your guys’ background, and what you all bring to the project.
Sebahattin Akay (Roco Finance):
Roco Finance is a blockchain-gaming company that provides technological support to game developers on blockchain, help them to integrate their games to play to earn mechanism.
Roco Finance has also a token which is called $Roco to power-up the whole ecosystem payments, DeFi pools, and NFT marketplace.
There’s hype in GameFi projects now, and when a mainstream starts in crypto industry, it has a huge interaction with communities, which also causes amateur, non-developed enough projects to be launched. But we aim to connect blockchain, and gaming industry with logic. And we also believe in DeFi, NFT and GameFi’s future. Thus, as a gaming company, we want to interact with others, especially indies, and contribute the blockchain ecosystem with our experienced blockchain team.
I am Sebahattin Akay, I have worked as a company owner and operations manager in companies that provide Online Game products, digital epin code sales and brokerage services for about 16 years.
We started the project by considering the population of the game industry and choosing the MMORPG genre that we think is suitable for us.
In the last 4.5 years of the project, we have reached the number of staff between 55–65 people in total. Currently, we continue to develop our project with our core staff of approximately 20 people in our company located in Teknokent, Istanbul University.
We have been developing Roco Finance over 1 year with our successful blockchain advisors and developers. They taught us crypto, we help them to understand game developing.

1. In my opinion, Avalanche was built to solve multiple problems found in most current blockchain networks but I would like to know the reasons why the Roco Finance team decided to develop their platform and game within this network and not others like Solana, Polkadot or BSC?
Sebahattin Akay (Roco Finance):
Avalanche (AVAX) is a blockchain ecosystem that was designed to function as a secure, globally distributed, decentralized network. Avalanche was built to solve multiple issues found in most blockchain networks today. The platform combats centralization by providing a viable alternative to networks like Ethereum. It also builds upon some of the shortcomings of that network with more programmability, features, and functionalities. Avalanche is designed to be scalable.The blockchain has can process 6,500 transactions per second. These transactions feature sub-second finality as well. In terms of operating costs, the Gas fees on Avalanche are much more affordable than Ethereum. If you have a chance to take a look at our Whitepaper and Business Deck, Roco Finance also connects players and investors. For example, if an item sold in NFT marketplace, there will be fee distributions to Roco investors (stakers), it should be fast and cheap for everyone, that’s the main reason we have chosen Avalanche network . Moreover, Avalanche network has great potential to be discovered in many ways, and we wanted to be part of this journey, especially with our admiration to Emin Gun Sirer and Avalanche Rocket Team.

2. Most investors are looking for short-term profits. They will sell the token as soon as it is listed on the exchange. So does project RocoFinance have any plans to prevent investors from selling tokens early? Do they get any benefit from holding ROCO token?
Sebahattin Akay (Roco Finance):
I want to refer a page from our Business Deck to answer this question. Moreover, Roco token is the native token of the ecosystem, so basically, the more developed its ecosystem is, the more valuable Roco token. And we are currently developing 2 new games for the ecosystem besides our upcoming IGOs. We do not highlight the price action of the token, but our main mission is to make Roco Finance more valuable in many ways.

3. Where can we access your game? is it available in the form of an application? Or is it still on a website? and what reward do you give us if we play your game continuously? is there any option in the game like mining or i have to go on an adventure to earn money,coins or NFT?
Sebahattin Akay (Roco Finance):
Rise Online World can be played by everyone who applies the registration form. The game is currently on Closed Beta, and official launch is soon. So any player can play and test the game, experience the play to earn system, e.g. Roco token drops from bosses and monsters.

4. DeFi is one of the hottest topic in the blockchain space right now. Can you share your opinion about DeFi with us? Do you think that DeFi will disrupt the existing financial system? What is “Roco Finance” approach towards the DeFi sector?
Sebahattin Akay (Roco Finance):
Roco Finance is not only a NFT or Gamefi project, but also wants to create a decentralized platform for earning. So basically, I can say that Roco Finance is also a DeFi project in my ways. People can stake or farm their tokens, buy and sell on the platform in NFT marketplace, can stake and join IDOs and more to come!

5. Roco Finance created its NFT marketplace that allows players to easily buy or sell their game items in the form of non-fungible tokens (NFTs). What type of assets can be traded in the Roco Finance NFT market? Are there requirements to access this market?
Sebahattin Akay (Roco Finance):
There is no requirement to access our NFT marketplace except holding Roco tokens. There will be costumes, gear items, characters from Rise Online world, NFT cards from Talecraft and items from partner projects in our NFT marketplace. Everyone who earns an NFT from the game can easily buy/sell their items on it.
Houy (Avalanche Vietnam):
6. STAKING is one of the STRATEGIES to ATTRACT USERS and HOLD Them and long term. Does your GREAT PROJECT have plan about to Staking?
Sebahattin Akay (Roco Finance):
We have Single Staking pool on roco.finance website already. We would open farming pools but for efficiency by investors, we kept it after IGO, so farming pool is also to be launched. Moreover, we have strategic partnerships with Smaugs and Yetiswap so there also will be staking pools on their platform.

7. Do you have AUDIT certificates, or are you working to AUDIT your project, to make it more secure and reliable???
Sebahattin Akay (Roco Finance):
We have been requesting audit from great companies, but the official launch of the whole documents will be after our platform products are launched completely. So, yes, we are diligently working on audits not to cause any damage to investors.
Houy (Avalanche Vietnam):
8. Is your project only for elite investors, what about others with small funds, is it open to everyone?
Sebahattin Akay (Roco Finance):
Everyone can try to invest, or harvest Roco token in Rise Online World (currently closed beta). We care about all of our investors. For example, our latest IDO was accessible for those who staked 400 Roco tokens, it’s a small number for our whales, but they preferred staking their tokens on high APR in our Single Staking pool.

9. Can you tell us about your plans for long-term? what you are currently working on?and what strategy will be used to expand globally?
Sebahattin Akay (Roco Finance):
We are currently developing 2 games for metaverse ecosystem. Our Rise Online World game is ready to launch, and official launch is coming soon. We have been in contact with 2–3 projects for RocoStarter. We will work for non-crypto players and community to attract them to the ecosystem.

10. What are the steps to become a part of your community, and start getting revenues? Where do we buy, where do we sign up? This looks like an amazing project!
