I am Jonah Schulman, Head of Communications at Security Token Market. We are based in Sunny Miami, Florida and been here for over 4 years!
Security Token Market is the CoinMarketCap for blockchain-based assets with a focus on regulatory compliant security tokens. We track over 200 live trading equities, fractional real estate properties, debt products, and more across 200 countries and territories totaling over $17B in secondary market cap!
In case you didn’t know, security tokens are like stocks, bonds, or real estate, but on the blockchain. It’s the convergence of blockchain and securities!
We are also a leading media company in the industry, with four professionally produced shows developed in house including our Security Token Show Podcast, Open Tab — interviewing tech leaders in Miami/crypto, Spilling the NFTea, an all-women show dedicated to creating a more friendly environment to learn more about Web3, and our up coming all-spanish show, Crypto Con Leche.
Amassing millions of social media impressions per month and tens of thousands of views, we are driving mainstream adoption for blockchain technologies in capital markets.
Next, could you please update some latest news or big events of Security Token Market in the coming time?
Definitely! We have had many amazing milestones.
1. Our parent company, Security Token Group, raised over $3M in their Series A including Avalanche Blizzard Fund and Exodus as one of the investors.
2. Launched the first-of-its-kind Web3 offering on Avalanche last month. (You can invest in our company and receive tokens on Avalanche that are backed by our company)
3. We have had over 100k organic website visitors from 210 countries and territories to our website and growing exponentially year over year.
4. Surpassed 10M organic social media impressions since inception.
5. The secondary market cap for security tokens has 20x’d this year alone from $1B to $20B.
1. The biggest challenge facing projects right now is related to the current market conditions. So, can you explain the reasons why users and investors should participate in the long-term development of the STOmarket ?
I completely understand that feeling. The reality is the cryptocurrency industry is going through a major transformation. In the US, the SEC is cracking down on many securities being unregistered securities. Where does that lead them? To become a security token.
So, that’s why we are confident in our product. We believe that as the industry grows and is defined more, we will grow with it.

3. Website interface is not aesthetically pleasing and troublesome for users. Do team have plan to update the website?
We are in the process of completely redesigning our entire website. Imagine Coinmarketcap.com user interface but better!
We are adding portfolio trackers, leaderboards, trading tools, analytics tools, and much much more.
Our website is still valuable as we still have 10k-20k users every month from 160+ countries!
4. Can you list 1–3 killer features of this project that makes it ahead of its competitors? What is the competitive advantage your project has that you feel most confident about..?
The competitive advantage that we have is positioing, knowledge and expertise of securities and blockchain, as well as the passion. We believe the traditional finance world including all assets like stocks, bonds, real estate, etc will all be tokenized and trading on exchanges. For the last 4 years, we have been aggegrating data on these very assets and over time as the industry has grown so have we. Why? Bceause we are the only ones in the world doing this.
Most people don’t realize this, but security tokens are going to make the crypto market cap look very small.
5. Are you planning to promote your project in countries/regions where English is not good? Do you have a local community for them to better understand your project??
Yes, we have a very diverse team. Firstly, we have a media show called Crypto Con Leche to tailor to the spanish-speaking audience. We also plan to grow from here with other languages as well!

7. Legal issues are a major barrier to trading securities on the blockchain. Do you have a solution to overcome the legal hurdles of the SEC?
That’s correct! We followed all securities laws to make this a possibility. In fact, took us over 10 months to launch it. We are using Reg CF ruling and have done everything else compliant
8. Did you consider community feedback/requests during the creation of your product in order to expand on fresh ideas for your project? Many projects fail because the target audience and clients are not understood. So I’d like to know who your ideal consumer is for your product?
100%! We are a community first platform and openly take feedback and suggestions all the time. Our goal is to make the best product fot you the consumer! What you see on stm.co will look very different soon
9. According to the project’s roadmap- what are your most important next priorities?
Close this fundraising round, build the best web3 website for anyone around the world to efficiently track and analyze blockchain data and trading data!
10. Could you tell us more about your value proposition and the features your project provides?
To democratize trading data on the blockchain for a global audience. This data is tough to find but we do it for you. We provide you the tools to do this where nowhere else you can. We also have a strong media arm to analyze and break down what the data means for you.
11. What benefits will $STO holders get?
They get vip access to events, maybe an NFT, and most importantly token is backed by an actual company. Like a stock or a bond not just a coin
